Gauntlet was founded in 1994 by our managing director, Roger Gaunt, with a view to enhancing the customer experience of commercial clients, by offering them relevant, affordable and comprehensive insurance and risk management solutions, delivered through a personal and face-to-face service.
In 2019, we celebrated our 25th anniversary and the 10th anniversary of our Appointed Representative network, Gauntlet Enterprise.
We operate from our own modern offices in Leeds, from where we offer all types of commercial, business and professional insurance advice and protection, health and safety consultancy and a comprehensive suite of risk management and fire risk services. Despite our growth, our ethos has not changed and we still pride ourselves on our relationships with our clients.
We also provide opportunities for ambitious and driven insurance account executives who wish to establish and run their own insurance business, benefiting from all the advantages of being their own boss, having their future in their own hands and earning significantly more money, by virtue of being self-employed.
Our head office team provides all the support, training and back-office services that both Appointed Representatives and Directly Authorised Brokers require, whilst our networks for both types of entrepreneur are regarded as being the ones to which to aspire to belong.
